Fairy Bread

On Friday we made some Fairy Bread. First we cut the crusts. One, two, three, four.

 We spread the butter on our bread. Then we sprinkled the sprinkles. Then we cut the bread in half.

This was a great opportunity to talk about fractions, halves and quarters, and what is a fair share?

Waitī sat together to eat the fairy bread. Then we came together on the mat to discuss writing about how we made it so the students who hadn't come to school that day would have the instructions when we come to make fairy bread in the future.
