We all sit together for the first ten minutes of lunch. We sit as a class - and eat our sandwiches first! Once we have had enough to eat after this first ten minutes tamariki can take their lunchboxes and pop them in bags and go and play. The duty teacher (the one in the pink vest) lets tamariki know when the ten minutes is up if for some reason I am not there. We have two duty teachers at least patroling the school grounds at break times to help students if they need it.
