The request has gone out from tamariki for us to do cooking - as much as possible!!! Through cooking children learn a valuable life skill. They grow in their confidence to undertake tasks and to try new things. They learn a lot about self management and patience too - as they took turns to do different jobs. They also learn real life application of fractions, measurement and reading skills.
